About This Group!

This group, sponsored by SPARC (the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition, http://www.arl.org/sparc) focuses on new scholarly communication models that expand the dissemination of research, with a particular interest in how these issues affect Chinese scholars. Topics covered include Open Access, institutional and disciplinary digital repositories, author rights, research access policies, and innovative ways to ensure the broadest impact for research. For Chinese scholars interested in increasing the visibility of their work in the West, this group will offer publication tips, authoring strategies, and general guidance on how to make your articles and data as accessible as possible. What are your fair use rights for publicizing and using your own articles? The Scholarly Publishing: Issues and Innovations Group will address these and similar issues through a rich set of resources and opportunities for discussion on the Anianet site. Any Chinese scholar with an interest in publishing their research should consider joining this group.
